The Problem

I'm Vinay Abburi, and my wife Subha and I run an HVAC business. We have a team of dedicated technicians, a manager, and customer service reps (CSRs) who keep things running day to day. Like many local service business owners—plumbers, landscapers, auto repair shops, dentists, and contractors—we struggled with marketing. We hired agencies that charged thousands of dollars a month—promising top rankings, more leads, and a steady stream of customers. Month after month, the phone stayed quiet. We were losing money, and the results never matched the promises.

The Search for a Better Way

Frustrated, we started digging deeper. We tried different options—DIY SEO, social media ads, lead aggregators. Nothing delivered consistently. The aggregators charged $50–100 per lead. The agencies kept billing regardless of outcomes. We knew there had to be a better way.

Building Ranqly

With a background in computer science and over a decade of experience in software and machine learning, I decided to build the solution myself. I combined what we learned running a real local service business with AI and modern SEO techniques. The goal was simple: help small business owners improve their rankings and get found by customers—without the empty promises and bloated fees.

That's why we call it Ranqly—it's about helping you rank better. Better in search. Better on Google Business. Better when customers ask "Who does [your service] near me?"

What We Believe
